| Introduction | How It Started BUILDING A BETTER WASAGA·FaceBook WEDNESDAY, MAY 30, 2018 I had big concerns over the sale of WDI and expressed them often. When the Downtown Master Plan was first unveiled I though it was a little over the top for a town of our size. I feared we would loose a lot of vital low income housing. The scope of this plan would also jeopardize our main industry Tourism. Many many people expressed similar reservations and together we were labled as “do nothing neigh sayers” and later as “obstructionist”... To answer this I started the Building a Better Wasaga page to prove that we all want to move forward and rebuild Wasaga. We just all wanted to do it in a better way than what was being offered! |
