| Introduction | I am a scientist and a science fiction author with published stories in the Okal Rel Universe. After growing up in Prince George, I graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science with a joint major in Chemistry and Physics. I recently finished my Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Alberta, where I studied plasmas and photonics for inertial confinement fusion. While taking a break from equations, I enjoy rel-skimming, playing cello and stretching the boundaries of science with imaginative writing. Strange activities like labwork, playing underwater hockey and doing yoga manifest in my weekly life. Currently I'm working on a hard science fiction novel dealing with signal transmission and connection between different times and species. I'm also working on a novella set in the Okal Rel universe.
