Introduction	My favorite song as a child was "Leaving On a Jet Plane" by John Denver. Although the song was written by a man to his girlfriend as he was leaving for war, I, as a 5 year old, I took it to be I'm relocating once again with my parents to far away lands. I would sing the song to my grandparents over and over again. I LOVED TO travel LOVED to FLY and get on that jet plane. I even went as far as telling my parents I wanted to be a "stewardess" (which flight attendants were once titled). Fast-forward many years later, I still LOVE to travel. As a mother of two boys, I have more inhibitions, perhaps get frightened by every little bump in the air that once never bothered me. But at the end of every bump, is the paradise we read so much about in our destination books. This blog is about my life's indulgences from travel, food, books to hanging out with my kids. As much as my life doesn't seem simple, or seems like my type A self, I love to indulge in many things that keep me young and happy.
