| Introduction | Erin lives in Loudoun County, Virginia, . She has been actively involved over the years in her local community, schools, and church. Erin became a leader in the initial opening of schools by becoming a co-creator of the Facebook group "LCPS Can Do Better". Organizing like-minded parents through this group spurred the initial movement for change in Loudoun County Public Schools and would set the course for Loudoun parents entering the world’s media stage. Erin's focus has been in the Special Education community. She helped fight for all families to have a voice and demand services be provided. From there, the battle expanded into curriculum change, new policies being implemented and parents not having a say in their children's education. |
