| Introduction | My name is David. I was born in Essex (a few years ago now) and moved to Norfolk in 1982 just as the Falklands war broke out. It was nothing to do with me though! Ive been fishing since the age of 5/6 when i had a piece of stick with some line attached thrust into my hand at Billing Aquadrome lakes, we were visiting friends camping there. I dangled the line in and out for about half an hour when i was called in for some "Breakfast" imagine to my surprise on my return there was a small Silver fish on the end... I was hooked. It was not until many years later i found out the fish had been found dead in the margins and hooked on by one of our friends. Since then ive caught plenty of fish myself (Honest)with a Match fishing bug lasting 18 years fishing for Norwich and district then my club team Sextons ac. For the last 3 years i now find myself searching for the fearsome looking Pike, mostly in the Broads area. Hopefully this blog will map my progress and record the ups,downs that is fishing... |
