| Introduction | Anyone who knows me, knows that I have an undying love affair with food. ALL food. In my opinion, nothing compares to a hearty, home-cooked meal but who doesn't enjoy a night out on the town at one of your favorite spots? I LOVE dining out as much as the next person, and there's nothing I enjoy more than "discovering" a new place that serves THE most unbelievable dish and try to re-create them at home. I'm not here to provide you with a scholarly opinion nor do I care which restaurant is the hip, happenin' place to be. I'm more interested in the places that AREN'T at the top of every food critic's list because quite frankly, good food is good food. And it doesn't need to be expensive to be delectable. I want to introduce you to the dishes that aren't the talk of the town. I prefer those that make you say, "Hmmmm....I wonder what THAT tastes like!" So if you are as adventurous with your food as I am, Let's travel the world together through food - from Thailand to Timbuktu! |
