| Introduction | I am absolutely crazy about the arts, I care about my fellow human beings. Love my family and close friends to bits. Try to find the positive in every situation. I love poetry, literature, classical music and jazz. I have an inquiring and analytical mind. A wicked and dry sense of humour. I admire wit and the ability to laugh at one's self. I love my country Nigeria while criticizing it constantly. I love the tradition of the mass and being Catholic. I love nature and I am in awe of it. I believe in spirituality, a higher presence and that we are called to be better than we are. I hold myself to higher standards and try to aspire to achieve my goals. I love a challenge and I believe that hard work, honesty, love, fairness, compassion, tolerance and faith are key elements in improving human relations. |
| Interests | I am particularly interested in policies that regulate the use of and development of cultural resources.I have in the past few months finally concluded my research on the impact of UNESCO's global World Heritage Policies with regards to implementation, at the Mapungubwe Cultural Landscape. A World Heritage site situated in the Limpopo Province in South Africa. My aim was to assess how such policies influence policy-making on the continent. I am keen on promoting the use of arts and culture, as a means of fostering cultural exchanges and collaborations around the continent. I strongly believe that such collaborations will reduce issues like xenophobia and engender more understanding of the many diverse cultures that exist in Africa. |
