| Introduction | I can still remember my mom saying in a rather stern voice.."Lori! You've got glue on the carpet again!" That was many years ago, and I'm a little more careful with my glue now,lol I've been a crafter since I was a little girl. I always had paper, glue and glitter in my stash, and created something anytime I had a chance. I've tried many crafts over the years, and enjoyed many of them. Scrapbooking was just another craft to try, but after trying it, I was hooked. I've been scrapbooking for about 6 years now, and recently dove into stamping and card making as well. I am one of the many card makers for the CardsForHeroes.org project. Cards for heroes has been a true labor of love. Having two brothers who have served and are serving our country, and hearing of the stories they've told of what they grow thru overseas makes this project all the more important. Our men and women in the armed forces do so much for us, and go thru so much and never ask for anything in return. So as long as my stash holds out, I will continue making cards for them :) |
