| Introduction | Food has always been a favorite subject as I miss all the old restaurants and haunts of my college days and the good times I had with friends. Movies come a close second. My varied interests may make me the world's oldest nerd. I love Star Trek, Star Wars, the X-Files, Firefly and all those other Sci Fi and Fantasy movies and TV shows. I especially enjoy old Silver Age comics being made into movies as it makes me feel like a kid again. I regret not having time to get a D&D game in on the computer but that's life. I am a news junkie and read everything I can, both in print and online and will discuss anything and everything at any time. |

| Favorite movies | The Lord of the Rings series, the Harry Potter series, James Bond movies, and movies based on comic books. And pretty much every other movie ever made. |
| Favorite music | Almost anything, but I love the Beatles, old country and bluegrass, opera and classical. I really love Gregorian Chants while working. |
| Favorite books | Lord of the Rings series, Dune, Shogun, Lonesome Dove, the Harry Potter series, Star Trek novels and pretty much any book by Paul Theroux, both fictiona and travel. |
