| Introduction | I'm a middle-aged father of four; my wife is a nurse who suspended her license to stay home and raise (and home-school) our children. We - together - are the parents of all four children, and have maintained a monogamous (I guess!) relationship for our 27 year marriage and 2 year+ before. We are Southern Baptist, but not particularly 'fundamentalist.' I was raised an Air Force dependant; born on Lackland AFB, I had left home and bought my first house before my father retired. Having been raised mostly overseas and in different cultures and situations (including under strict martial law), I have a sometimes unique, sometimes peculiar perspective of situations and events, and an absolute love for our nation. After all, I've seen what else it could be. Even with all our faults, this is the greatest nation (social experiment) in the history of the world, constructed by the greatest collection of minds History ever saw fit to collect in one place and at one time. This is my story, and I'm sticking to it. |
