| Introduction | I bring 35 years of experience as a project manager, where I learned to navigate complexity, build systems that work, and deliver results. My commitment to civic life led me to serve two years on the DeKalb County Board and two years as a trustee on the Island Lake Village Board. In both roles, I worked on the Law Enforcement and Transportation Committees, focusing on accountability, safety, and infrastructure. Beyond elected office, I’ve managed numerous election campaigns with a strong record of success — winning about 75% of them — and continue to advocate for systemic reform, transparency, and citizen engagement. Today, I channel that experience into writing, storytelling, and visual advocacy, weaving together history, analysis, and participatory rituals to inspire collective action. |
