| Introduction | I uprooted from London to Cornwall over ten years ago - in fact it's fourteen years! - to pursue a more creative life. My days are now divided between painting, writing & research. I am currently completing a PhD in Art History. These paintings are about capturing an atmosphere, the effects of colour, light and shadow. Architecture provides most of my inspiration, and I also enjoy painting the figure. Acrylic is my favourite medium but I will mix it up with whatever it takes to tell the pictorial story.
