Introduction	Jeff has over 18 years of experience in the software development life cycle. He has served in a variety of positions including mainframe and client-server software developer, multimedia developer, web page developer, development team leader, quality assurance consultant, consultant manager, senior testing analyst, and quality assurance manager. Jeff authored this process in 2002 with his associate, Phillip Nguyen. The circumstances that gave birth to this process were his employer beginning a cycle of transferring resources to an offshore location while at the same time tripling the number of releases provided to one of their largest customers. The CBTA process allowed the small group of U.S.-based subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into maintainable and re-usable component documents. Since then, Jeff has optimized the process and it has been used successfully through approximately 19 releases.
