Introduction Rosie Chapman always knew she wanted to be a teacher/actress. As an English Major and Theatre minor, Bluffton University afforded her the opportunity to perfect her skills as an actress. For the past 20 years, has graced audiences in Scotland, Australia, Germany, Canada and all over the United States. Her one woman shows of Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King, Madame C. J. Walker, Marian Anderson, Maya Angelou and Mary McLeod Bethune are unforgettable. All ages enjoy her delivery of folktales from around the world as well as professional development workshops for teachers, librarians, major corporations regarding cultural diversity awareness insights. Through audience participation, Rosie’s "edutainment", combining educating, entertaining, involves her audience in a performance that tickles the soul, warms the heart and stimulates the mind. Ms. Chapman has earned a bachelor’s in English from Bluffton University, a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Art Education from Wayne State University. She has been included in the Touring Arts Directory for the Michigan Humanities Council for the Arts for 16 years.
