| Introduction | The Daniel Mokhtar blog was borne out of a lack of any other outlet to share my thoughts with (most specifically people) and seems to have evolved into something of a log book of my studies. The fundamental thesis of which is the firm belief that an earnest, broad-scoped, empirical examination of תורה שבכתב and תורה שבעל פה can truly lead to deeper understandings and comprehension of the entirety of reality around us. A vision that, with much sadness, I have not seen shared among the majority of Torah Institutions out there, some of which I have been privileged to be a part of. In addition, I started a blog for land appraisal in israel as a way of sharing my current learning with others. |
