| Introduction | Beautiful things inspire me/awaken a desire to create. "Nesting"--whether re-arranging closets and kitchen cabinets, cooking, setting a beautiful table, is all for my family, and it's when I am the happiest. I love color--the serene, fresh colors of the beach, the vibrant colors of traditional home decor, the colors of every season. And I love the "hunt"--for new dishes, a new pillow, candles and candleholders, sterling and everyday stainless, fine crystal and the just plain pretty. I hope that by sharing my home and ideas I will help others to create beautiful spaces for themselves. I've been married to Terry for almost 40 years, and have three awesome sons, 3 wonderful DILs, and 8 grandbabies--the joy of my life. |
