| Introduction | I was inspired by a friend who sent me an equinox haiku in September 2010. I replied with one of my own. The next day I decided to see if I could write a haiku every day. The possibilities inherent in our existence are infinite - we all live lives of work, love, pain, joy. I am hoping to reflect that multiplicity of experience in some small way through these haiku. By means of this precise and constrained form, the infinite possibilities are captured in finite space and time. Kinda quantum-y, isn't it? And not nearly as important as that made it sound. Just some haiku. |
