Introduction	I was born in 1974, and I used to have HUGE hair. Now I'm just a mom with typical hair living in in the midwest. I'm super lucky, because I have the most amazing husband, my dream home in an small village location, I have many jobs that I enjoy, I MET BILLY JOEL, and I have three amazing adopted wonderful kids. My girls make me such a better person and have really helped me discover who I want to be in life. The beginning of my blog captures why we decided to pursue foster care and how that led to adoption, and the rest is just me trying to capture the challenges and wonderfullness of it all.

Favorite music	It's all about Billy Joel right now. I've always loved the Beatles & Paul McCartney too.
Favorite books	Me Talk Pretty One Day, A Severe Mercy, or any Biographies on Interesting People.
