| Introduction | Gudrun (Finnbogadottir) Gallo was born in Iceland in 1964. She graduated from Durham College in Oshawa, ON with a Graphic Design diploma in the mid 80's. She worked as a design editor and art director for many well known National magazine publications and newspapers in Toronto, including The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail National Newspaper before moving to the County in 2001 with her young family. Gudrun has been painting for many years though more formally in the last ten years cultivating her own style in acrylic, pastel and mixed media. Her work has been collected privately, though, can been seen publicly as well. Gudrun has displayed her art in various shows and galleries throughout South eastern Ontario. |
