| Introduction | I am a champion of what i think of as lost and dying arts. I often end up lost myself, so i understand how they feel. But i enjoy learning new things and things that are somewhat obscure. Some of the most interesting things in life are the processes by which we get our every-day things. Particularly food. Most of my hobbies or interests pertain to edibles. I'm not a great cook, but i enjoy cooking. I consider myself a Meatetarian and a Vegeholic. I'm a little odd, sometimes eccentric, often obsessive and easily distracted. But my hobbies, activities and interests seem to consistently reflect the idea that: Sometimes the end result isn't the goal, its the process. I do weird things like saving meat drippings to render and make soap, i have a worm farm in my kitchen. I make my own beer, wine, cheese, kefir, sourdough and yogurt for fun. I obsess about gardening and seed starting, i like to crochet and i LOVE to read about how to do all of the above even better. Life is fascinating! |

| Favorite movies | i don't watch them, much. although i will say i love the Anne of Green Gables movies- all but the very last one which was lame. |
| Favorite music | Most things from the 1940's to the mid 1980's. This new "music" these days is just terrible. -and we thought it was bad in the 80's, lol |

i suppose they thought they were being silly by asking that question. the thing is that i actually would like a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster and it is highly likely that i would receive one and it probably would come from one of my aunts.
