I believe forks are evolved from spoons. Evolution is moving forward, and adapting to what is most suitable for the environment. Spoons are never suitable, they are total gag-makers, and should only ever be used when eating cereal, becuase that shit needs to be shoveled in. Otherwise, a fork works perfectly for absolutely everything else.
