| Introduction | Hey, my name is Eric. Recent college grad. Decided to try out blogging, mainly because no political party out there supports some very key points I believe are necessary to our society. So I figured that with blogging and the internet if I could reach even one person who agrees with some of my points, then I will consider it a success. My background is coming from a poor/low middle class family, I have felt the pains of drastic conservation of money, to the very high class college i went to, the reckless abundance and wealth some members of society throw their money around. I have seen both the kindness of humanity, and the far more prevalent selfish, evil and generally non-group oriented behavior. I have seen and felt the unconditional love of a dog, but have seen the ruthlessness of humanity towards innocent creatures. I have a solid background in science, yet routinely see science treated as another 'religion', often a fairly ostracized one ironically. Anyway, I was once a extremely kind egalitarian, but (though I still like to think I retain my kindness towards the human race) have rapidly come to see that a harder form of justice is at least temporarily needed. |
