My blogs

About me

Introduction Yeah, I know it's funny; a computer science student using a blog template. But get over it, I don't have 10 000 years to make my blog look pretty. This is a log of my experiences as a newbie in this field. Originally, I had been planning to be a doctor. Then, about a year and a half before I could apply to pre-med school, I realized that it just wouldn't have worked for me. So I considered engineering. Engineering was too easy (I'm polar opposite to most people; calculus, physics, and other related maths are ridiculously intuitive to me, but discrete algebra is not), and jobs seemed rather boring, so I chose the adventurous road of Computer Science. A field I knew virtually (aha!) nothing about. I only knew HTML from personal interest. No previous programming exposure. Yet I chose it as my major and here I am, after my first year, in a co-op job. Having learned Java and JavaScript, I feel a bit more comfortable, but as you can see, this is still extremely foreign material to me. Come giggle at my n00bish antics.
