Introduction	I have often thought if I was on the TV show Room 101, where guests are asked to select three things they dislike in order to persuade the host to banish them forever, I wouldn't know where to begin. I suppose I would start by throwing everything in to room 101 before gradually picking out a few things that are actually ok. If this sounds winy and negative to you - then it is probably best not to read any further. However, if like me there are hundreds of things that occur to you everyday as being utterly ridiculous, to the point of being funny, read on about what I think is just modern nonsense.
