| Introduction | The SmithKlein Gallery has been in business on Boulder's Pearl Street Mall for more than 30 years. Keeping the business in the family, Nathan Klein and his wife, Ann, purchased the gallery from Nathan's mother, Deborah Smithklein, who opened the gallery out of a passion for fine art. Nathan grew up in the business, watching it evolve throughout the years. Though small in the beginning, the gallery quickly attracted major collectors, thus permitting its present day growth. Now mature, the gallery is ever cognizant of its relationship to its collectors, and Nathan has assembled a highly knowledgeable and motivated staff to assist anyone with questions or purchases. The eclectic mix and sheer quality of art in the gallery provide a wonderful ambience that is one of the main reasons SmithKlein has been operating for so long.
