| Introduction | PEDRO BLANCO-URIBE Writer and Director Caracas (1972) Postgraduate in Film Direction at the Higher Institute of Professional Studies (CEU) in Madrid Spain. The Director has developed professionally in producing documentaries and commercials as well as in various branches of the TV, worked for houses as HBO Latin American Group, E! Entertainment Television, Claxson / Playboy Latin American TV and Promofilms, among others. Was for three years the Titular Teacher of Cinematographic Script at the School of Cinema and Television of Caracas. With a filmography of three short films such as: "PB" 2007 (currently selected in international festivals), "VALIUN" (winner of "Project 48" Venezuela 2007 edition, transmitted by TNT L.A.); at present his latest work of fiction, the road movie "NO SIGNAL" 2008 is in postproduction. Also Pedro Blanco-Uribe is reaching into the direction of commercials (for Cinema and television) while making his 1st feature film. |
