About me

Introduction Ever since I remember, I buried myself in books. I love everything about reading! I love the weight of a book in my hands, the sound of pages turning, the musty smell of old tomes, the crisp-inkiness of newly printed pages, the cracking spine on a brand-new hardcover, the orderly arrangement of rows upon rows of words marching across ivory pages. And best of all, for me, each book opens a door to new, exciting explorations. In non-fiction, I savor the pleasure of learning what the author knows, soaking it in. With fiction, I experience the bliss of living ways that my ordinary life wouldn’t allow. I confess. I am biblio-hedonist. Having confessed that, though, my parents, with their dissimilar backgrounds nurtured my analytical side, and as a follower of Jesus, I tend to see through glasses tinted by a biblical worldview but, of course, I’m not always 20/20. Also, as a homeschooling mom, I try to extract meaning and learn from everyone and everything. Finally, as a voracious reader with a knack for summarizing content, and after the encouragement of friends, I began this blog to share what I’ve read and ask for your response to questions that emerge as a result.
