| Introduction | My name is Andrey Aleksandrov Kurtenkov, I was born 08.08.1966 in Plovdiv (the second-largest town in Bulgaria), catholic by birth. After completing the two-year military service in Bulgarian Army, I graduated as Master of Veterinary Medicine and in the beginning of 2003 I defended dissertation and became PhD in Animal Science. I live in Lyulin (municipality of the capital of Republic of Bulgaria - Sofia) and Belozem (proclaimed as “European village of the storks”). I think that so-called welfare state destroys liberty and justice and our system of science and higher education is a socialist fossil and is in urgent need of reforms. My scientific interests include: veterinary service in organic farming (especially veterinary homeopathy), domestic ostriches, evolution. I reject genetic engineering (and biotechnology as a whole) and large-scale vaccinations and I am fan of the slow-food-movement. I believe in possibility to develop profitable agriculture while at the same time contributing to the conservation of the environment. Also I believe in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I have found the taste of the Real God, I have a dream: to be forever touched by His Noodly Appendages. Ramen! |
