Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I don't wear scarves often because it reminds me of being a knitting failure, (learning to knit is ALWAYS my New Year's Resolution) plus, I'd rather wear a tightly tied hooded sweatshirt to keep my neck warm.
