| Introduction | The American Naturalist John Muir eloquently used to express his love of Earth, Planet, and Universe through his written and spoken words. He is in my opinion the greatest American naturalist and is hands down the greatest lover of all things wild and free. In an effort to express my love for place and the present moment I have created the simple saying of "Getting Muired" While the origins of this expression are many, the simple meaning shows an appreciation for nature and the time spent in the present moment. This blog is my attempt to show gratitude for my local place (Wekiva River Basin, FL) and to all those other places that I frequently wonder to whether in Florida or elsewhere. My underlying goal in all things I do is to "Get Muired". |
