| Introduction | My career spans 35+ years in various fields of quality and associated 'ility' 's : reliability, mainatinability, testability, supportability,quality management systems and software quality. I started off as a physics major in 1970 as a junior reliability engineer at Israel Aircraft Industries (I.A.I). I later branched out into maintainability, testability and ILS In the early 1980 I became interested in quality and in 1981 I was certified as an ASQ CQE. My last assignment at I.A.I was Avionics and Electrical Systems Maintainability department manager. Since 1986 till 2000 I served as Director of Product Assurance at Rada Electronic Ind. in charge of quality, reliability, qualification and configuration management.In 2000 I was appointed Directot of Quality and Reliability at Metalink, a fabless semiconductor company. From mid 2005 to mid 2006 I did some independent consultancy work. In July 2006 I was lured back again to a salaried position as Quality Manager at Vyyo were I was for slightly over 1 year.
