| Introduction | I'm Courtney, a stay-at-home mom. I was diagnosed with postpartum depression four months after my daughter's birth. My daughter is now a toddler, and I've finished the first draft of my memoir about postpartum depression. |
| Interests | Writing, spreading awareness about postpartum depression, crafting, cooking and baking, Zumba, travel |
| Favorite movies | This is overwhelming. Well, let's start with the trilogies: Back to the Future, Star Wars, and the Lord of the Rings. And I just spent like five minutes debating what movie to list next - A Room With A View? Despicable Me? Does "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" count as a movie? What about Swords and Fire, the five minute "movie" my cousins, brother and I made in the mid-80s? I hate this list. |
| Favorite music | I used to be the sort of cool, interesting and motivated person who went to concerts and spent hours at Amoeba Music hunting for new cd's. Now I am exhausted by the idea of going to a concert. But I have seen The Dan Band twice in recent times, so I suppose that's it. The Dan Band. That's my favorite music. Also, anything that involves the ukulule, especially The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. |
| Favorite books | I just can't do this. I am a serious bookworm, and we'd be here all day. But, there are a few books that moved me and made me cry, and I still get teary when I think about them. These are the books that inspire me, that I intend to read again: The Time Traveler's Wife; The Art of Racing in the Rain; The Sparrow; My Brilliant Friend; and The Dogs of Babel. |
