Introduction	I used to be a hardcore feminist, but when I saw feminists attack Palin or pro-life women, I wondered what we were up to, and whether I wanted to be a part of such a group. What I'd really like is a culture where women can flourish, where impediments to feminine advancement are removed, and where my daughter doesn't have to get told all she's got on offer is T & A. I love men. That doesn't mean I'll let them be sexist with me, or screw me over. But I love men for being men, and realize we need men, just as we need women. I openly wonder why women of color don't embrace feminism, and I am engaged in finding out - it's not pretty, and it means feminism will be stultified, owned by a few intolerant hardcore white women, and will ultimately die out. So I'd rather get in the business of empowering women and widening the circles of acceptance between women and men of all walks of life.
