| Introduction | Born and raised in Southern Oregon, I grew up in a large,close family. I love nature and doing many activities outdoors. I am a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. I have been in the Community for over 30 years and have taught elementary school in Spokane, WA, in Portland and in Beaverton, OR. Currently I live and minister in Washington State. In my spiritual ministry as a spiritual director and retreat facilitator I am aware of joys and sorrows and the spiritual hunger of many people. I started this Blog so that I could share with others about my life as a Catholic Sister and as a Franciscan. Sometimes I might share inspirations that have come my way, and sometimes I will share more about St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi whose charism is very much a part of my life.
