| Introduction | I am Emily Elizabeth, age 22. Wife to one of those rare and wonderful men known as genuine--a hard worker with 3 jobs, one of which is youth pastor--a man who cherishes Christ, then me. Mommy to Avonlea Joy, our precious baby girl born December 2015. Currently writing a novel. Blessed beyond measure to be redeemed by God's grace and called His child. I shop at thrift stores, play the piano in sunlit rooms, and pore over dusty old books. I write. I thrive on stories--reading, hearing, collecting, and writing them. I create. I believe life is to be lived as art. I have an affinity for Shirley Temple and all things 1930s and 40s. I sing along with Bing Crosby and Celtic CDs, watch black and white shows with my family, and read mystery stories by candlelight. I believe in English muffins with blackberry jam and tea for breakfast.
