Introduction	Two of my favorite things in life are talking and helping people. Fortunately for me I get to combine both in my work. I also get paid for pursuing my other passion, lacrosse, by coaching at the high school where I work. I have a fantastic life. Most of that is due to luck and the rest is about attitude. I help people to change their attitudes and it is amazing how often their luck seems to change as well. What qualifies me to give advice? Actually I try not to give advice. Normally I try to help people identify their options but we don't have a lot of give and take here. But in answer, I'm a licensed clinical social worker who has spent over a decade listening and learning from the experiences of others. I have worked in mental health hospitals, group homes, all kinds of schools, as a therapist/life coach, workshop facilitator... In these places, and in my own family where I have witnessed much of the DSM come to life, I have learned, and if you ask I will share all my experience with you.
