Introduction	My name is Weston Thier. I'm 22 years old and have been poking along at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for over four years, working on degrees in piano performance and creative writing. I grew up in Bayfield, Wisconsin-Pop. 550 (and shrinking) , which is where I learned to fly fish. The sport found me when I was about 11 years old and I have lived and breathed it ever since. Fly tying is a big part of it for me and I tie for myself and on a commercial basis. I have done some guiding on Wisconsin trout streams and plan to develop into a full-time guide in the western U.S. after moving to Montana in the summer of 2013. Until then, I'll continue to enjoy and fulfill my trout junkie lifestyle in the Midwest.
