About me

Location Atlanta, GA
Introduction I began studying Hebrew calligraphy in Israel in 1981. My husband owned the art gallery, Hanoded, in Jerusalem, which exhibited folk art and fine art produced by young Israeli artists. One of these artists taught me the basics of Hebrew calligraphy. After teaching myself English calligraphy, I wrote a ketubah and put it in the gallery. After it sold, I decided to pursue the art of creating ketubot and other illuminated manuscripts more seriously. I have now been writing and illuminating ketubot and other judaica for 27 years. Over the years, I have been commissioned to design certificates, gifts for weddings, bar/bat mitzvah, babies, anniversaries, family trees, house warming and teachers , inspirational and motivational quotes and for many other occasions.
