| Introduction | I live in Darien, IL and have worked in library service since 1977. I inherited a love of all things Italian naturally, having been raised in a warm, loving Italian-American household. My father was born in Marsala, Sicily. My mother was born in Chicago of parents who immigrated from Termini Imerese. They were both very active in the Chicago Italian-American community and both wrote for the newspaper Fra Noi. My mother was a food writer for them and now, since 2002, I am too. |
