| Introduction | Hi my name is Phil Dewhurst, I am 42 years old. I've been married for 10 years to my beautiful wife Leigh, and we have 4 wonderful children together. I am from Clitheroe originally but now live in Gt Harwood and have been living there for the last 21 years. When I left school I went into Engineering and have 23 years experience. In 2002 I joined Lancashire fire and rescue service and became a firefighter but sadly had to finish in 2008 due to an accident I had in 2007 whilst Engineering. I got my 1st camera bought for my 10th birthday and have loved taking photos ever since. Ive been struggling to find a direction to go in since the accident and decided to retrain myself, Initially I wanted to get on a part time photography course just to see if I could bump my skills up in this area but when I applied i've ended up doing a degree on photography which I am over the moon about and it seems to be perfect timing for me and my family. |
