| Introduction | My name is Carol and I have a lovely Husband and a beautiful Daughter. I also have three cats, Poppy, Dylan Bob Bob and Twig. I have been sewing since at least three years old! I love all crafts but my first love is quilting. In particular I love the history of American Quilts especially Civil War and before. I collect reproduction fabric and enjoy planning my next quilt. As well as quilting for myself and family I make quilts, bags etc. for sale through sites like Etsy. |

| Favorite movies | I love black and white films of the 30's and 40's. Anything with Fred Astaire. I also love Brief Encounter and This Happy Breed. More up to date films would be Sleepless in Seatle and You've Got Mail. |
| Favorite books | I love books! I buy every book on American quilt history that I can get my hands on! Through this subject I have read many diaries written by women in the Civil war. |
