| Introduction | Welcome! This is a blog about a girl, her family, her craft projects and all the good things in life that I am passionate about or find inspiration in. The name of my blog comes from two great people whom I miss very much. They taught me what I know about sewing and also lots about life; my mom Joan and my grandma Grace (who always called my mom Joanie). |
| Interests | Sewing and knitting - the latter not very well. I read quite a lot - both fiction and non-fiction. |
| Favorite movies | Shawshank Redemption, Whale Rider, KingPin, and its not a movie but Luther from the BBC is the best show on TV right now. |
| Favorite music | It varies but right now Mumford and Sons and Adele are in heavy rotation. Bedouin Soundclash, Dixie Chicks, Etta James are some standard fare. |
| Favorite books | ANYTHING by John Steinbeck or Rohinton Mistry. |
