| Introduction | I've been a hobby printer for 55 years and now own several platen presses, as well as operating a 7-press exhibit at the local historic museum. The aim of the exhibit is to showcase the hand setting of type a century ago, and encourage visitors to print a souvenir of their visit or enrol to learn to letterpress. Adana, Challenge Gordon, Kelsey, Sigwalt, Farley may be familiar to you ?? I am a foundation member of the NZ Assoc of Handcraft Printers and today coordinate the Yahoo group letterpressdu. I also work on the committee of the Printing Museum of NZ in Wellington. |
