Introduction	As a photographer, imagery is the high-octane fuel which powers my being. It drives me to see, create, appreciate, and persevere. I love sleek, minimalistic, and functional design. I like things that are built to last. It is through the melding of these passions I strive to produce a fresh perspective of image-making and the craft's exciting hardware. Most importantly, I intend to accomplish this with an emphasis on original imagery. While I do acquire some imagery from others (Permission is always requested when possible and original authors are credited) I make as much of the imagery as I can. MakingNotTaking is as much about the concept of carefully and thoughtfully composing an image as it is a push for new, original content on the web.
