| Introduction | 41 yrs old, married to Mary for 8 yrs. Their son, Thomas,turns 3 in Jan. Devoted dad, commited husband, loving son and brother. Struggled with his heart since he was 28 years old (cardio myopathy) Admitted to UMC for heart failure 04/06. May 06 received full artificial heart. June 06 received first donor heart. Rejection caused Ron's heart to weaken severely. 08/07 heart/kidney failure set in. 11/07 listed for heart/kidney transplant. 12/07 received new donor heart/kidney. 12/10/07 Ron takes a critical turn. Rejection sets in..heart fails quickly. The Lord gives Ron another chance to fight..and he continues to do so.... |
