| Introduction | Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Meiqua Shepherd and as you've probably already guessed, I'm the wife of an over-the-road truck driver. No I'm not a stay-at-home wife, I work and go to school full-time, as well as take care of our household while he's away. I met my husband five years ago and he had big dreams of becoming a truck driver and me being the supportive, stand by her man kind of girl I am, I made sure he saw his dream through. Little did I know it would leave me at home alone, a lot. I created this blog so I could share what life is like as a truck driver's wife, as well as to give me the opportunity to meet other wives with traveling hubbies who share similar experiences. I am in the process of creating a group for the wives of traveling hubbies so we can mingle and find ways to entertain ourselves while our hubbies are away. | Favorite movies | I love all of Tyler Perry's plays and movies. I love horror, comedy and action movies. I'm actually a movie fanatic so if it's a good movie more than likely I've seen it. |
| Favorite music | I enjoy all kinds of music from gospel to rap. If the song has a message then I love it. |
| Favorite books | I love to read but haven't really found any good books to read lately. The last book I read was Steve Harvey's 'Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.' If you know of any good books please let me know. Other than that I've been reading my books from college so I can graduate next Spring! |
