Introduction	I’m whimsical and cranky and childless too. This is a place for all of those things, sometimes all at once. So that’s fun, right? I believe there’s a compassion gap between moms and non-moms in secular culture and one that's even wider within the halls of Christendom. This is a place where I hope to do my part to bridge that gap. Then again, this is a place where I may very well blather on about tedious minutiae that makes you go cross-eyed, so gird your loins. Or your eyes. Or whatever needs girding. But keep it to yourself, ‘mkay? I don't need to know that stuff. My perspective is Christian, but I may not sound like one of those “stereotypical” Christians you see pontificating in the media. This will be good or bad, I suppose, depending on your perspective. So welcome! Grab the booze or beverage of your choice, gird your loins, and brace for impact. Or, if I've scared you off, then I suppose this is not really a "welcome" as much as a "fare thee well." ;-)
