Introduction | "Jump off the cliff and build your wings on the way down." ~ Ray Bradbury I am a performer at heart. Whether it's on the stage presenting someone else's vision, or on paper as I pour out my own thoughts and observations, I love to perform. Not because I want the audience to see me, but because it's something I just need to do. It's how I communicate. It's how I think. I find meaning in words. They shape me and my reality. I make sense of the world around me by applying my personal lexicon to all that I see and feel. And then I share it. It's a very scary feeling the idea of permanently committing my words, thoughts, and soul to such a public stage. But it's an exhilarating process and I'm breathless and humbled when it's done. |

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
Flexibility. Sometimes you've got to bend with the wind. Other times you need to be able to make a beautiful shape facing into the wind.
