| Introduction | I am an author and Benedict's Brother is my first work of fiction. I wrote it ten years ago but it didn't get a publisher so in August 2006 I launched it as a blog in instalments. It received a loyal following and an Arts Council UK grant. In May 2007 it was launched as a paperback and became Borders biggest launch of an unknown author in the UK that year. Six months later it was selected in Publishing News as one of its "Books of the Year". This is the original, unedited blog version. It is a moving story of love, death and Buddhism set at the Bridge on the River Kwai in Thailand and the quickest way of ordering a copy is from www.coppicepublishing.com I also regularly log on at www.myspace.com/tricia_walker. Much love Tricia |
