| Introduction | These blogs are written from the heart and off the cuff. Though grammar and spelling are paid close attention to, I make no effort to have my blogs be perfect, or they would never make it to the page. That said: My introduction to publication was Student Life Editor for my school newspaper and yearbook. Later I was a stringer for my local newspaper; eventually a travel writer and poet. My poetry chapbook THE NAIL SET is a collection of heartfelt poems written over a period of time that pertain to events in my life and are connected, speaking of joy, sorrow and sometimes terror; published by Bottlecap Press. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF I CAME HOME, about a pregnant teenage runaway who wants nothing more than her voice to be heard; MOZO, a novel inspired by my years in Mexico; CARLOS AT THE BROKEN ARMS, the tales of a documented Mexican immigrant and the characters around him, in the small town of Juanita, Washington. Adam Garcia and Jake Diego are nom de plumes I used for writing south of the border. Adam and Jake help me stay under the radar. A Googlish search will reveal a lot of interesting opinions and facts that Adam likes to share about Mexico and Puerto Vallarta. |
